It’s like walking back in time… In the 19th century, La Franqui was the first and most famous seaside resort in the Aude. In the shade of its hundred-year-old pine trees, it has kept its charm and its slightly old-fashioned character intact.
On the boards of the seafront, all year round, it discusses weather forecasts and kitesurfing equipment! It is the meeting point for all the riders: kitesurf, wingfoil, windsurf… Between surfshop, bars and restaurants very surf-friendly, school of windsurfing… you would think you were on the Bask Coast!
