Between the Mediterranean Sea and the lagoons , Port Leucate is a timeless place, a witness to the history and heritage of our region. The Ile aux Oiseaux water sports center invites you to discover unspoiled and wild nature around the Leucate Salses pond.
Here, it is only by sea , by canoe, pedal boat , or stand-up paddle , that you can land on one of the four islands of the Leucate Salses pond and observe the richness of the fauna and flora.
Around a traditional fisherman's house made of sanils, built identically to the "barracas" of Barcarès, Île aux Oiseaux, with its homemade tapas restaurant "La Sardine", is a unique place, with a poetic and terribly inspiring universe.
