Voix d’Etoiles

International Festival of Animated Film Voices

The Voix d’Etoiles Festival is the one and only festival in France and worldwide to reward the voices of animated cinema. From 22 to 25 October 2025, come and meet the actors, composers, directors and above all the VOICES of animated film present during the festival, at the Espace Henry de Monfreid and the Clap Ciné in Port Leucate. There will also be preview screenings, feature films and shorts, workshops, Ciné Bout Choux, exhibitions and the chance to vote for the best graduation film… Activities for all the family!

Animated film awards

The Voix d’Etoiles festival, the only festival in the world to reward the voices of animated cinema. The jury, made up of personalities from the worlds of entertainment and cinema, journalists, children and the general public, will be electing :

Get ready for an exceptional evening! In the first half, discover the promising world of Max Rivage, presented as a trio. Then it’s on to Billet Doux, the duo that melts pop, folk and rock! Made up of Kaycie Chase (French voice of Stranger Things and Vice-Versa) and Pierre Elgrishi (musician for Clara Luciani), Billet Doux invite you into their gentle, bewitching world. They recently supported Julien Doré and have just released their first single, ‘Dream on’ (Tôt ou Tard), produced with Olivia Merilahti (The Dø). Don’t miss this duo of rising stars at the Festival Voix d’étoiles!

Who hasn’t dreamt of giving their voice to their favourite film hero? The great actress Dorothée Pousséo opens the doors of her studio to you for two exceptional dubbing workshop sessions. During these sessions, learn the techniques of voice and timing, and let yourself be guided by a renowned professional. This is your chance to learn the secrets of this fascinating profession and discover your inner actor. Come and listen, discover, and you might just get the chance to be directed by Dorothée Pousséo. Join us for a special screening featuring 2 episodes of Goldorak. Actarus, prince of the planet Euphor, has fled his world destroyed by the empire of Vega. On Earth, he lives incognito on a ranch, until the day Vega attacks the blue planet. To defend it, he uses Goldorak, a gigantic fighting robot hidden in an underground hangar. "The Secrets of the Voice

Come and meet Anaïs Petit, a multi-talented vocal artist, for a privileged chat about her work! We’ll delve into her artistic career by analysing extracts from her short film. Anaïs will unveil her imitation methods: how does she work with her vocal chords? Does gesture help her find a voice? She will also explain her choice of texts, whether personal or linked to current affairs. The meeting will also focus on her own current affairs, in particular her exceptional participation in the Festival Voix d’étoiles. She will also talk about her work under the artistic direction of director Sylvain Chomet, and whether this experience has inspired her to pursue dubbing or voice creation. The discussion will conclude with a question and answer session with the audience.

Jean-Pierre Savelli: icon of cult credits

Jean-Pierre Savelli,an icon of cult theme songs, will be on stage at the Festival Voix d’étoiles on Friday 24 October at 6.30pm. You’ve all heard his voice: Goldorak, Albator, X-Or, Capitaine Flam, Il était une fois l’espace… Millions of albums sold and memories engraved forever in the hearts of a generation! But you’ll also know him for his unforgettable interstellar hit “Besoin de rien, envie de toi”, a historic number 1 in the Top 50! The evening will continue with a signing session, offering fans of anime and cult music a unique and privileged moment in the company of this true icon.

Philippe Peythieu and Véronique Augereau

Philippe and Véronique invite you to take a behind-the-scenes look at dubbing, from its origins in Snow White to modern techniques such as the rythmoband (explained live), including an analysis of the Simpsons’ theme songs and the challenges of voice creation in animation.all illustrated by numerous video extracts and punctuated by a question-and-answer session with the audience.

The dubbing of Goldorak: meeting with Catherine Lafond

When Goldorakarrived in France in 1978, it was dubbed by some of the biggest names in dubbing. Catherine Lafond, the voice of Phénicia, sister of the hero Actarus, took part in this adventure and tells us how dubbing was done in those days. It’s an opportunity to look back over the career of this actress, who has lent her voice to many characters over almost 50 years!

This year’s Voix d’Etoiles will also feature a special“Cartoon Credits”karaoke session: the cult credits from the series we grew up with will be brought to life by your voices! Ulysses 31, Capitaine Flam, Les Mystérieuses Cités d’Or, Goldorak… Can you sing along?

Radio platform

Friday 24 October from 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.

During a 2-hour LIVE broadcast, specially relocated to the Voix d’étoiles site, artists and guests will take turns atArnaud Hamelin‘s microphone to talk about their work, their relationship with the public… and, of course, what goes on behind the scenes at the festival!
