The world’s best compete on the spot of La Franqui during the Mondial du Vent.Leucate hosts the one and only French round of the Wingfoil GWA World Cup. A great show on the beach of La Franqui with freestyle and slalom.

GWA Wingfoil World Cup
Surf-Freestyle event
A key stop on the GWA Wingfoil World Cup circuit, Leucate will welcome some sixty international athletes from 18 countries for freestyle and slalom surfing.
Surf-Slalom event
Competitors set off together on a slalom course where tactics come into their own.
Game of windsurf
The principle is simple and effective: a rider proposes a trick that he or she must perform on the first try, then the others must perform it in turn. Whoever falls is penalized by a letter, “W” first, until WINDSURF is written. When this word is written, the rider is eliminated.

Parking access To facilitate access to the site, parking spaces will also be sold online. Pre-sale parking spaces are available for each day from April 11 to 14 (free parking on April 7, 8, 9 and 10) at the rate of €4.00 / day. Pre-sales will close at midnight each evening, with the final deadline for the following day. Access to the site will then only be available on site at the rate of 5€ / day.
